Who we are

This website is operated by Darren Reagan, a licensed REALTOR® (Illinois license 475.170639) affiliated with Charles Rutenberg Realty. In this policy, “I” and “my” refer to Darren Reagan.

Information I collect

• Information you give me. When you use a contact, sign-up, showing-request or home-value form, I receive the details you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, property address and message.
• Home search information. The property search on this site is provided by Buying Buddy (My Buying Buddy). If you create an account, save searches or favorites, or request alerts, Buying Buddy collects that information and your activity on the search pages, and may use cookies and similar technologies to do so. It is shared with me so I can follow up with you. See the Buying Buddy privacy policy on their website.
• Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested in order to deliver and secure the site.

How I use it

• To respond to your questions and requests, and to follow up about buying, selling or home values.
• To send listing alerts, market updates and similar emails you have asked for.
• To operate, secure and improve this website.

Who I share it with

I do not sell your personal information. I share it only with service providers who help me run this site and communicate with you (for example website hosting, the property search provider and email delivery services), with my brokerage, Charles Rutenberg Realty, as needed to conduct real estate business, and where required by law.

Email and text messages

If you sign up for emails, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any message or by contacting me. I will not send marketing text messages without your consent. If you opt in to my mailing list, your name and email address are stored with my email service provider (Brevo) so I can send you updates. The page or link you came from (for example a social media or email link) may be recorded with your request.

Cookies

This site uses only the cookies and similar storage needed for the property search and for site operation. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some search features, such as saved searches, may not work without them.

Your choices

You may ask me to access, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by using the contact details below. Illinois and other states may give you additional rights; I will honor valid requests.

Security and children

I use reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. This site is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

I may update this policy and will post the new effective date here.
